EppsteinFOILS is a medium-sized company with a long tradition. In addition to uninterrupted operations stretching back over 150 years, this tradition also highlights the company's ability to continually adapt to technological change and shifting customer requirements.

Our plant lies nestled in the historic town centre at the feet of the Eppstein Castle in the Rhine-Main region, about 20 minutes by car from the Frankfurt airport. We have roughly 90 employees with a wide range of skills.

We are specialised in the production of especially thin (less than 0.500 mm thick) non-ferrous metal foils based on lead, tin and lead-tin alloys. We deliver plain foils as well as a wide range of laminated composites on the basis of various metal, paper and/or plastic foils.

EppsteinFOILS, formerly Stanniolfabrik Eppstein, has maintained operations at the Eppstein location in the vicinity of Frankfurt since its founding over 160 years ago. Since its beginnings (1852) as a lead drawing operation, the company has consistently expanded its market position as a specialist in highly refined foils.
